One year after their wedding. Not every set of photographs needs a reason. Sometimes it’s simply about getting dressed up, wandering the city together, laughing a lot, and making something beautiful out of an ordinary evening.


We spent the evening wandering through the city, letting familiar streets and architecture become the backdrop for something simple, elegant and a little cinematic.


There’s something we love about documenting couples beyond the wedding. A year into marriage, there’s an ease that comes with knowing one another a little deeper , the inside jokes, familiar gestures, and quiet ways two lives have continued to become one.


Sarah and Finn’s session was exactly that. A walk through the city, one that they were soon to be leaving, the beautiful evening light, a little wine, and photographs that feel like a small time capsule of where life is right now.


Because the story doesn’t end when the wedding gallery is delivered. Sometimes, one year later is just the beginning.
