Erika and Charlie’s wedding at Poplar Grove Winery felt like the perfect blend of intentionality and warmth. Set against sweeping views of Okanagan Lake and late-summer vineyards, their day was rooted in story and surrounded by the people who matter most.

Now living in North Vancouver, Erika and Charlie chose the Okanagan for more than just its beauty — it’s home. Erika grew up in Vernon, Charlie spent summers on Skaha Lake, and they’re planning to move back to the valley to start their family. Their wedding was the beginning of something much bigger.

The celebration kicked off with a relaxed welcome party at Sandy Beach Lodge, where many of their guests stayed. On the wedding day, soft September light, elegant details, and a natural colour palette — think warm neutrals, blush, and dusty green — brought a sense of calm sophistication to the whole celebration.

Erika and Charlie’s love story spans over a decade. Introduced through Erika’s brother, they reconnected in 2020 and fell into step quickly. That connection was woven into every moment — from personal vows to golden hour portraits in the vines.
