Jill & Jon
There’s something about autumn weddings that feel extra cozy — the golden light, the crisp air, and the way the leaves seem to echo the warmth of the people gathered. Jill & Jon's wedding at CedarCreek Estate Winery was intimate, heartfelt, and full of that kind of quiet magic you can’t plan — it just happens when the right people come together.
Their love story started in the most modern of ways: online. What began as a simple date at Nook — a little Italian gem tucked in the city — quickly turned into a deep connection. They talked for hours that night, as if they’d known each other for years. And in a twist of fate, that very same day, her office shut down due to COVID. Funny how life works out.
Being part of each other’s "covid bubbles" meant their relationship grew fast — and deeply. While the world slowed down, they were busy building something beautiful. Think backyard herb gardens, long bike rides, and endless picnics. The simple kind of love that becomes a safe place to land. After a year, they moved in together… and the rest, as they say, is history.
Their wedding day mirrored all of this. Small in size, big in heart. Surrounded by the golden tones of fall and the rolling hills of the Okanagan, they celebrated in a way that felt entirely true to them — relaxed, elegant, and deeply meaningful.
Cedar Creek Winery was the perfect backdrop. With views overlooking the vineyard and lake, the setting gave space for every quiet moment to shine — a heartfelt ceremony, soft laughter over wine, and the kind of dinner that lingers long into the evening.
It was an honour to photograph such a genuine love story — one that started in a season of uncertainty, and grew into something steady and full of hope. Jill & Jon, thank you for trusting us with your day. We’ll never forget the way it felt.
